the truth of the matter is that even one hour of dedicated work a day can put you in a different orbit. The issue is that we no longer know how to work and how to rest.
it's not even about sleep. there are only two modes - work and doomscroll. what about painting? reading novels? romance? why everything is about work work work? is this anxiety real or is it fake? why is it there?
you don't set goals then you get anxious. you get anxious and you don't ask questions to your anxiety you just get pulled on its strings like a puppet
can you put your tools down at the end of a work day and feel satisfied? this used to be the norm. now we no longer have work-days and we can no longer be satisfied.
learn to rest.
learn to plan your work. when you finish your work for the day, turn it off.
set modest goals but hit them consistently. this is winning.
it's also fucking boring. none of the drama.
